I thought they were the same stem fixing but the castors were very, very slightly bigger in diameter so I needed to remove the original fixing inserts from the corners of the bed base and replace them with the new castor fixing inserts which came with the castors. This was relatively easy to do with the help of a screw driver and hammer! The castors seem very robust and the bed now moves with ease, despite the bed being heavy, plus they look really stylish. Great price for the quality and style so very happy. Impressed enough to order more and make the same change to another bed with the same design.
