The liquid itself does not stain teeth at all. I find it not stinging, to swish around the mouth and then gargle for a few seconds. What is has done is to prevent the occasional gum bleed, even when using a soft brush. My dentist is very happy with my gums, much improved at each check up. I do take a break of a few weeks when I have been using it regularly. Overall I am well impressed. It can help also, I wear a partial denture, from not getting any sore rubbing points or ulcers.
