This hair is extremely soft, not a major major issue, but still very soft. Knowing how synthetic hair feels after all these years I knew it wouldn’t stand up to being dipped in hot water to seal the ends but I still had to test it. FAIL* I pulled off enough for a small/medium sized box braid, braided it down and dipped it. This is what I do with all brands of hair I’ve yet to try. As u can see in the second picture it’s a bit frayed just after dipping.I have not used it in my hair yet but will write another review when I do. Why am I still going to use it u ask? Well the truth is the color (ombré black to purple to pink) is very vibrant and beautiful! I always use color in my braids and honestly was running out of colors to use. Reason number two is I paid for it and I really really want to use it lol. After install a second review will be given! The hair is a soft texture. Doesn't seem unnecessarily shiny. I like the transition from black to gray, and the gray is not too harsh. I would like it better if the black came down a tad more!! They DEFINITELY need to have more color options for black ombré. My braided had a terrible time braiding with this product. The ‘jumbo’ bundles are a joke. It looks fuzzy like yarn and itches like a sum-bi+2h. I did a ACV rinse and wash and conditioner. When this spongy mess dries, I’ll see if a low set flat iron will make it look presentable.
