Not any more!Even though the strings on the curtains blow in the wind and get a little tangled sometimes at the bottom, they still provide an effective barrier. I am pleasantly surprised at how effective they are - even with my two dogs coming and going through them all day. They also look more attractive than the old fashioned fly curtains.My French doors are quite wide (door recess is 175cm) and these curtains fit perfectly. I usually only have one door open, but if I wanted to open both, this pair of curtains is wide enough to fill the gap. I had to trim the length slightly but this was easily done with a pair of sharp, household scissors.As a cheap but extremely effective and attractive solution to keeping flying insects at bay, these curtains are an absolute bargain. It says they are 100cm in width. That varies, the smallest was 92cm and the biggest was 98cm. Thankfully I had enough for the job. Header for the pole can vary in depth, so if joining more than one together best to put matching depths together, I put a few stitches in to stop them parting. Easy to cut to length needed. Overall I am pleased with the end result, would buy again. Arrived really quickly and thought they were a good price as well.
