While the angry redness has faded to a degree, the scar was still very visible. I wear the strip at night, and then I moisture the scar with cocoa butter during the day. I discovered that during the day, I bend the knee too much for it to stay stuck in place. But overnight, it works well and stays put. I'v used it for about 1 ½ weeks now, and I do think the scar is lightening in color. Time will tell. I find that I have to wash it every other day, and I use Dawn dish soap because it removes skin oils. They are washable/resusable up to 28 uses per strip, but the average time is about 2 weeks. **Q: Is the clear pink or see thru??** A: I got this in the natural and it is tan/beige like my skin color. The pink one has tiny letters that say removeable pink liner.
