I'm a big guy (6'1" and 300 lbs). This works well for me for both instability and stepping on/off and keeps its shape. It's not covered and would be susceptible to damage using shoes so you'd want to be careful. Finding the right product for your need is often hard so including important information such as your weight in this case is important for others. If you're lightweight it's probably not the best for you. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice pad, no strap included *by C***L on January 12, 2019* This is a comfortable pad to stand on. I had purchased it to work my arches but I just find it comfortable to stand on, so I can't speak to the foot-strengthening aspect.
