It has something to do with the chips the seller uses.I contacted seller but they simply had me remove them and try again. Not helpful. UPDATE: after my one star review, the company contacted me and offered to send me new cartridges in exchange for an updated review with a four or five stars rating. I accepted. The new cartridges have different electronic connecting components compared to the first that I received. The new cartridges register as β€œfull” with the printer. ### ⭐ WILL IT LAST? ...LOOKS LIGHTWEIGHT? *by C***1 on Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2020* I am totally disappointed. Bought the XL to last, and now, it is out of ink or something. It feels heavy, but will not operate in printer. Replaced it with another, and it worked perfectly. I put the first one in on May 30, and used it regularly as normal. It is not July 23, and I am still on the first cartridge.
