I had been carrying a small cooler with a bottle of water and bowl to provide water to my dog on our walks, now I pop a few ice cubes in the base of the container add some water and we are good to go. Water on demand without having to fumble around holding the leash, pouring water into the bowl, and replacing items in cooler. Now I just press the button on the bottle, water enters the attached cup, my baby drinks, and off we go. I purchased the 12oz which is perfect for the needs of my shih tzu. Bottle has a handy hand/wrist strap making it easy to carry and also allows any remaining water in the cup to flow back into the base. Certainly has made myife easier. The only thing I'm not in love with is the strap/carabiner to attach the bottle to a belt loop or backpack.
