Only tough part is always supporting the fan housing as you screw it into the ceiling plate - an extra hand is helpful. As always when finished you hold your breath that everything is right and it works when you turn on the power. No issues at all with this Emerson model which I decided on after reading many reviews of "best" fans on numerous online sites. Once on, the remote worked perfectly and the fan is soooooo quiet - I was impressed. LED light is bright and this 52" three blade...although many would think you need four or five for good air circulation - with its six speeds it gave an immediate cooling breeze. Made a believer out of me - am thinking Emerson for the next room.
