Looks great on the table too! ### ⭐ Teapot Cover Porcelain Knob Comes Off! *by L***C on March 16, 2021* Mine came perfectly packaged (I requested gift packaging from Amazon), wrapped in bubble wrap, when I took it out of the box the porcelain top fell off! I really like the teapot so I requested a replacement. It came wrapped inside another box for the gift packaging but wasn’t bubble wrapped. So the box jostled inside causing the teapot to rattle around while shipping. Needless to say, it arrived with the porcelain knob already off and the shiny cover damaged from the loose porcelain rattling around while in transit. Also, the body of the teapot was scratched due to the metal cozy/cover also rattling around. All in all such a disappointment and what a hassle. I decided to use Gorilla Glue to glue the porcelain finial from the first pot as I liked the item so much. But for $134 I don’t expect to have to DIY it in order to make an item work as it should. This is especially disappointing as the item is Made in France. The teapot itself is beautiful (once the knob was fixed). It keeps your tea hot for about an hour if you pre-warm the pot by pouring boiling water first, emptying it then steeping your tea with just boiled water.
