Review: Questionable packaging. - I received my Steeldive 1953 watch six days after the proposed delivery date. The external packaging was so badly damaged that the FedEx agent/driver apologised and gave me the opportunity to refuse delivery. After the prolonged waiting I decided to accept …. but with trepidation. That was well founded as I found out. The presentation package was less than professional. I fully suspect this to be a ‘re-bundled’ package and not the expected, excellent Steeldive presentation as noted on some ‘unboxing’ programs. The Steeldive presentation box was minus the cellophane wrap so, consequently, dusty. Looking more second hand, if anything! The watch and tools were wrapped in bubble wrap and not in the normal plastic pouch. On inspection, the watch looked fine and is working ok at present, so I have decided not to return it. I definitely won’t be buying again from this seller.
Review: Low quality finish. Sharp edges at the case, clasp and bezel. I paid 160 euro but the watch is worth 50 euro in my opinion. I gave 2 stars because the return was pretty straight forward and I got my mony back.
