I have a few accurate micrometer calibration rods, it's dead on on all of them. Will it stay that way, only time will tell. So far after several months of use, it's staying accurate and I still haven't had to put new batteries in it. This one became available last week during Prime Days at an attractive price. My concern was whether or not it would hold its zero or if it would have to be re-zeroed every time I used it. After zeroing it the first time I checked it against a 1 inch standard and it was right on.
