But the tull and the stiffer hem material that makes the ruffles was very creased, the bottom (longest) layer had a very uneven hemline, and there were threads dangling all over. I went and bought a steamer to use on the dress and spent probably an hour steaming out the creases, they were significant. then we used fingernail clippers to clip all the threads. BUT as you can see, she looked like a princess. It fit perfectly,the color was lovely, I would definitely recommend this and I would definitely buy from this company again. But you need a steamer. Originally I was going to put it in a garment bag and throw it in the dryer with a wet towel, but I don't think that would have worked. An iron wouldn't have worked, either...or would only have worked if you used a piece of wet muslin over the tulle and you would risk stretching it. So be prepared to deal with the material...but if you are, this is an adorable little dress. I wore the dress also to a party wearing a top hat from the original 1920’s manufacturer. I stole the show! Everyone commented about how my outfit was the prettiest!
