I use Chlorine Dioxide for soaking my donkey's hooves when they have an abscess. Chlorine dioxide will kill about 99.9% of all know bacteria and fungus. And it does not do anything to live tissue. Totally safe. When I use it for my donkeys I have to activate it before using. And you notice that CloSYS is already activated (via some patent or whatever). When I activate the chlorine dioxide is generates a mist off AND it smells like bleach. But it is not bleach. Like I said, it does not harm living tissue. Unlike peroxide and also bleach. **Q: How often can this be used a day ?** A: CloSYS mouth rinses are gentle enough to be used as many times a day as you would like.
