I don't think they made him sick but he has not thrown up if he eats food first and then I have him these. we have a border collie/lab mix who could run all day if we would let him. My dog used to stretch in the morning and crack when he would get out of his crate. Now there is not cracking but he gets a deeper stretch to the point he moans!!! since giving him these I have not heard him yelp when he skids to catch the ball, I believe he is jumping higher and his is less tired from our walks.
