I just got home from work. The dog is looking at me like "hey, when are you going to feed me, lady?", the baby is in his bouncer, probably about to go bonkers at any minute... I'm trying to eat chips and salsa with one hand.... and I'm interrupting all of that to write this review. Yeah. They're that good! I'm buying more as soon as I hit "submit".Ladies with curves - you know the situation. You are NOT wearing pantyhose or some kind of shaping contraption with that dress, yet if you go without something and have to walk more than 50 feet and it's over 65 degrees out... ugh. I've been there too. So, if you're like me, you've headed out to whatever big box store and started buying boyshorts, knickers, slipshorts, bike shorts, whatever. Or you buy a second stick of deodorant and use it Amy-Schumer style. Or you find yourself Googling things like "products to prevent runner's thigh rash" even though you don't run. Ever.Do you have one-click ordering turned on? It's worth it for this item! I put them on and immediately knew it: yes, these will work. Here's why:1) They're a great length. Boyshorts don't work -- those are basically grandma panties with a lower waist and maybe a 2" inseam. Horrible. On the other hand, these actually have an inseam, come down, and fully cover the chub rub areas. I don't look like the model in the picture (I'm a size 16 for your reference), but the picture is pretty accurate. I have about a hand's length between the bottom hem and my knee while wearing these. I can wear a knee or above-the-knee length dress or skirt without anyone knowing I'm wearing these.... unless I want them to know. (wink wink) ;)2) This is not shapewear! Hallelujah! If you want spanx or similar, you already know where to get those. Sometimes you just want something lightweight and comfortable. These fit the bill. And, they don't cut me at the waist, creating that weird muffin-top madness that requires some kind of shaping cami or whatever on top to eliminate. Bonus!!!3) These are lightweight! So it's not like you're wearing bike shorts underneath your skirt. I mean, I don't do spinning or ride a bike, but I'm guessing the material used for those applications is not super lightweight and opaque. I live in Vermont and it's February, so I can't attest to how cool these will be in humid weather, but based on my previous experiences with garments like these, I think they will be comfy. A worthwhile trade off for not having to waddle due to sore, chaffed thighs!4) These stay put! I've been sitting all kinds of crazy ways, running up and down stairs, walking around my house -- no tugging needed.I hope these work as fantastically for you as they are for me. I’m a teacher and during nicer warm weather I pretty much live in dresses so I wanted shorts to wear underneath Themis my thighs don’t chafe.I’m 5”5 155lbs. I am curvy and I have thick thighs. So for me, these tended to roll up after an hour or so of wearing them. They would actually roll up all the way to the top of my thighs LOL. A bit uncomfortable when that would happen. I really wanted to love these though.So these are a no for me but they may work for you! So I’m giving it 4 stars because I think these will really work well for others. I did like the material a lot. Super light and soft and easy to wash. I’d let these air dry (no dryer). Just wish they didn’t roll up on me, ugh!Side Note: I may consider trying a size or two bigger just to see if they won’t roll up. These are super form fitting so I don’t think a larger size will make much of a difference around the waist area. Just my thoughts. Between the thigh sweat, the chub rub, and the constant paranoia that my undies are out for the world to see, I haven’t worn any dresses that weren’t floor length or didn’t include a pair of tights for the whole five years I spent in college.Recently I got my first big-girl office job, which means nice clothes, which means dresses (if you’re both petite AND fat like me, well-fitting dress pants are a nightmare to find). I found this product while looking for slips to wear under my dresses. I’m so glad I did!This thing has opened a new world of possibilities for me. No more worrying about my old-lady slips bunching up in weird places. No more awkwardly trying to tug down the back of my skirt in public. No more thick black athletic shorts ruining the illusion of being effortlessly high-femme. No More embarrassing thigh/butt sweat leaving imprints on my seat. Best of all, NO painful, annoying chub rub!! I love this thing. As soon as I get my new paycheck, I’m buying like, four more.Pros: All of the above. Plus it’s very comfy—not itchy or hot at all. If it wasn’t for the fact that I can stand up from a leather seat without sticking to it for the first time in my adult life, I would honestly forget I’m wearing it. On me it hits about mid thigh and comes up to my waist, but I haven’t had any issues with the shorts riding up or the waist rolling down. It feels like I’m wearing old, soft yoga pants. Also it’s cheap as hell.Cons: it’s very plain and not cute—the color reminds of the pantyhose socks you find in a shoe store, or old lady shape wear. It would be nice to have some more color options, or at least some range in nude tones. It’s also translucent, so don’t wear black undies with your white dress and expect this to make that okay. If you’re looking for something that’ll suck you in and make you two sizes smaller, this ain’t it. It has very mild compressive properties. It does, however, do a good job at smoothing out panty lines and general lumps and curves, and I feel significantly less insecure about my FUPA’s appearance when I’m wearing it. Because it was, as mentioned earlier, cheap as hell, I’m not expecting to get ten years of wear out of it.
