We can easily snap them on our little one, you can adjust the opening depending on where you set the closure snaps. Our baby cannot pull them.of her 4 year old sister cant either! I love, love, love these. My toddler is messy and these bibs are perfect for him. Unlike other bibs, these are long and wide so they really catch a lot of food. Also, the neck circumference is ample. I have a stout toddler and these fit great with plenty of room to grow. I keep these on a command hook by the kitchen sink. Whenever he's going to eat, I grab one off and put it on him. Once he is done eating, I give it a quick rinse and put it back on the command hook. Depending on what he is eating, I get to use a bib a few times before having to put it in the washing machine. These wash so amazingly well!! They always look brand new! The best part about these bibs is their durability. I've brought one of these bibs out to a restaurant, my toddler wore it, I shoved it back into his little travel lunch bag and then forgot about it for a week. If this happened with any other bib it would probably have a little bit of mold and permanent stains but not this bib.
