This product is made of good-quality plastic and feels like it will last a very long time. It looks like a real pistol, aside from the orange color. It fits into my hand easily and aims well. It comes with a practice canister. The real thing, the pepper spray, is VERY STRONG. Out of curiosity, I aimed it at my kitchen wall, at a three-foot distance. It hit my "target " with no problem, and caused me to cough uncontrollably. I had to wash it off my walls with soap, because it still caused me to cough the next day!!! This stuff is no-nonsense, and a must for all dog-walkers and hikers, especially women. I bought a universal holster so I can wear it at all times while I walk with the "buddies". I recomment this item without reservation.
