Really good value for a starter. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product and ideal purchase for children interested in astronomy! *by M***S on 4 January 2026* Purchased as a Christmas present for our children, aged 4 & 6. The initial set up was quick, taking around 10 minutes. The instructions were clear. It was a little fiddly to calibrate the top sight and main scope together as the adjustments are completed between three screws. This part probably took me a good 15/20 minutes to do but that was trying to get it near perfect. That all proved to be for nothing though when the 4 year old grabbed the top sight with excitement and moved it out of position, oh well! The telescope is sturdy and feels well made. The legs quickly collapse down so you can move it around as required or shrink the size to store. The light weight makes it’s easy to carry although if it was a bit heavier it may hold its position better when operating the zoom , I find that it judders around a little. We’ve used this a couple of times now and the children have been very impressed with the clarity of seeing the moon. Equally I too have been impressed with the image quality and think for the price paid this offers good value for money. I managed to snap a photo through my phone which I felt was pretty impressive.
