It’s more of a medium-heavy rod, which I was hoping for a medium, but it’s not a huge issue. Durability seems good, but time will tell. This set up is well worth it at the price. It’s nice to be able to throw it in my car or backpack for bike rides. 4 stars is just because of the rod being more stiff than expected. I would recommend this to anyone going for crappie, bluegill, bass, trout. I have caught 13-18” trout and 2-3lb bass no problem. I run 6lb flouro with good casting distance. I could easily run heavier braided for a nice bass set up. I have recommended this set up for friends.
