One there is a burr on the edge of the blade that comes in the device. It rips the paper. There is NO cutting. No smooth lines. Just a jagged mess. The second problem is that we couldn't get that blade out to try one of the other blades that came with the kit. My husband ended up using pliers and had he kept pulling, it would have broken the plastic. Needless to say, we'll be returning this one and the one we bought for my daughter as well. Bummer.
