Then buy this book. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 1, 2017* I've ordered so many Christian books and read them with such urgency that it's hard for me to remember the details of what I thought of this book (this is not the only book of his that I ordered.) What I do remember is reading books from other Christian authors and when I finally arrived to this book, it was the first book I couldn't speed-read through. The tone (for me) was slow and powerful. During the first 2 chapters, I strangely was aware that my behavior was weird. It's like my heart was looking at my brain going, "What in the world is going on upstairs? You're freaking me out." I've read more books since then and I understand it more now, but at that time I started the book, I realized something in me started to fight me from reading more. A change in me was stirring up and something in me did not want to go. It's hard to explain it to someone who might not understand what I'm talking about, but this is my personal experience. I never had an experience like that before. At like, the 3rd chapter, the tone of the book sped up for me. But the beginning of the book was as if God was holding my head still and telling me, "Read it again. And Again. Memorize what you read. Focus. Focus on me. You can do it. Let it go. I have new knowledge for you, but you first have to let your old knowledge go." This is a great book. Bill Johnson's word seems to be coming more from God than from Bill Johnson. The tone was a powerful one and I haven't yet read other books with that tone. Bill talks about viewing life through the new lenses God has given us; lenses of who God is & what He HAS done, rather than our natural lenses.As with most books, it’s not meant just to be read, but to be put into practice. I know from experience that God will move mountains in our lives & the lives of those we love, if only we approach life as it is seen through our God given lenses. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Totally awed by the simplicity of a great subject *by E***N on Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2015* After reading Beni Johnson's book about prayer, this book by her husband Bill fits in like a hand in a glove. And I am totally amazed about this new angle of testimony. How is it possible to be a Christian for years and read the Bible through again and again - and not catch on ...? For the first time I came to understand how deep this expression "Jesus as the Spirit of Prophecy" is and how we all, as a matter of fact, prophecy without knowing it. And why we need to go on doing it. Also what happens when we quit talking/witnessing about all God has done in our lives and is doing still - and will do - if we keep eyes and ears open.
