That is not the case - the dress is extremely thin rayon and the lace part is fuzzy polyester. It looks strange. The top of the dress has major side boob. The length is about 3" too short on me. I'm 5'4," 175 lbs, 36C, and I ordered a Large based on the size chart. I will probably return this.

One of the dresses I ordered for the Bridgerton experience. It arrived early, but had to return. If you’re shorter than 5’6” or don’t want to have to wear 5” heels, you would be drowning in fabric. Really long. Also the drapey layer is too long to be flattering.
