I got the black 14 inch queen size mattress and I'm soooo glad I took the risk! This is the first queen size I've ever had and it has so much more room than my full size mattress. I can comfortably roll around and not feel like I'm close to dangling off the sides. I was skeptical ordering one online since I didn't get to lay on it or feel how it is. My old mattress was pretty soft and cushiony so I was kind of nervous as this one is medium firm. I don't personally like mine being hard as a rock because I wake up feeling sore. When I opened it and laid on it I did notice it was more firm than my old one so I was scared I wasn't going to be comfortable. I gave it a chance though and I can now say after sleeping on it for a couple nights it doesn't leave me sore or with any back pain. If you want something in-between soft and firm in my opinion this is a good choice. It's not as hard as a rock but you also have some support and don't sink into the bed. Setting up this mattress was easy peasy. It was rolled up in an air tight bag and you are provided a little plastic tool with a blade cut it open. It does spring out quickly once you cut the air tight bag so make sure it's facing the correct way (The spiraled part is what's going to unravel). Make sure no people are in the way of the mattress when opening to avoid injury and make sure there's nothing around that can be knocked over by it. It says it needs a few days to fully inflate but I'd say it's nearly there once you open it. I break the rules and start sleeping on it the first night I got it and don't believe it affected the mattress expansion in any way. Some mattresses when you open have pretty bad or chemical like smells. This one didn't but I do recommend keeping a window open just in case.
