The tuna and fish have great flakes and chunks, but you can mash them up a little into smaller pieces. There are some teeny bones every once in a while, but for the most part, none. All the cans smell like fresh fish...and mostly like human grade canned tuna. I appreciate the quality of this food, while it is pricey, I think it is worth the cost. When I opened it, I was very impressed. It isn't those can of cat food you get from the store. My cats literally ate this food so fast. They loved it. It looked like I was opening a can of tuna. It is a bit expensive . I do like the quality of the product. It does smell like fresh fish, and I do put a little in my dogs food because they too eat fish.
