The unit needs to be connected to a dedicated 20Amp branch circuit as it draws over 18 amps on each burner on high heat and will trip the breaker if both burners are on high at the same time. That seldom happens. Controls are easy to use and instantly respond to touch. ### ⭐⭐ This product runs way too hot *by C***E on May 2, 2019* I have had this product for about 4 months. I previously was using electric coil and induction cook top. The pre programmed functions like boiling water are very nice and convenient I really love the water function for boiling pasta. However, this product takes longer than normal to heat up . Once it comes up to temperature it seems to run hot compared to the display temperature. The ceramic tends to retain heat very well. However even when you turn the heat completely off the temperature depreciation is so slow that you will likely burn your food If you don't remove it completely from the heat there is definitely a learning curve to this product. The soup function which is supposed to be for simmering delicate things is just a flat out rolling boil So trying to simmer rice or poach something is impossible with this product unless you literally take the pan on and off the heat or turn the heat on and off. It may be hard to tell from the picture but the little silver circles Around the burners are actually raised up so if you have a pen that is larger than 10" it will not make flush contact with the cooking surface. Lastly be very thin instruction manual really means translated in to English better. If you want a product that runs hot, has a learning curve, can not use larger sized pans and that you can not low simmer with then I can suggest this otherwise I would look for a different product. ### ⭐ Heat is not high enough...but still it does work. *by P***T on February 14, 2019* Themperature does not get very hot to fry ...Easy to clean. DT6's design looks great on kitchen counter. I plan to use this DT6 burner instead of the regular electric kitchen stove in my rental home to avoid cleaning and heat coils having dirty so I wouldn't have to worry replacing or cleaning before I move out of this place.update: July 2020 No longer wanted to use it because it couldnt boil even water.
