Review: Cutting It' - I used one inch fome for insulation in the roof of my 2012 Jeep Wrangler I live in Mesa Arizona and it's really hot down here it's 104 today I'll see how it holds in the roof it's only been in a week cutting it is not as easy as they say it is August 6 its still holding and keep most heat out my old wrangler had no insulation the new ones do have

I think this sound dampening material is a great value. It performs really well by keeping sound confined. I use it around my subwoofer box in my room & it keeps the base from penetrating the floor beneith me. At first appearance it looks like foam padding but it's way more durable & thicker. It's not hard to cut through but when you do you can tell hoe dense it is. I think it looks alright too. The paper backing peals off so I can stick it anywhere I want & It hold where it sticks. 16 x 60 x1 inches is big enough for my needs. I'd recommend this material if you need sound proofing. 5 stars
