They do not get in the player's way and the ball doesn't deflect off of them, which is good, however they are more difficult to see from a distance. Their main use would be inside a practice grid as opposed to using them to define the perimeter. I use them on turf but think they might not be so great if used on grass. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Useful and safe *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 21, 2019* The material is durable and they do not slip at all like other flat disc cones which is key for player safety and the outline of grids/zones for soccer drills. They are visible on turf because it is a very flat and even surface, but on grass they might be harder to see as they are on the smaller size. Would be great if the company offered two sizes, these smaller ones and a 10" version. Also the hole is an odd size, a leash for regular cones does not fit through the hole, has anyone found a giant carabiner to clip all the cones on for storage? If so please send a link where you ordered it. My packaging reads “red” but they’re clearly not. Not sure if it was a mistake or if they think this is truly “red”. If you care about the color, buyer beware.
