A: kegg is FSA/HSA approved which means you can purchase kegg with your HSA/FSA debit card or use regular payment methods, and submit for reimbursement later from your HSA/FSA account.

**Q: Does preseed lubricant affect the devices accuracy at all?**
A: It’s recommended that you don’t take a reading until at least 8hrs after intercourse or using lube! Outside of that, it doesn’t affect it!

**Q: does is track hormones such as progesterone and LH?**
A: Excellent question! kegg detects the changes in the cervical fluid to show the user their full 5 day fertile window. Hospitable cervical mucus is key to sustain, nourish, and assist sperm en route to the egg. Whereas LH doesn’t peak until most of the fertile window has passed, kegg users see the full window from the start (3-5 days before the day of ovulation when women have the highest chances to get pregnant).
In short, kegg does not detect urine hormone levels and instead detects changes in the cervical fluid so you can see the full fertile window to optimally time your efforts! I hope this helps!

**Q: Does it work without the app? I realize the app is useful for charting, but does the device give me the results that I can document on paper instead?**
A: Great question! With kegg, you will conveniently see your readings plotted in the kegg app so there is no need to transfer the readings to another method. The kegg readings need to be interpreted by their trend. kegg plots your reading on the kegg chart as well as a trend line which helps you see the overall trend of the readings. You can optionally input your basal body temperature to view both your BBT and kegg readings in one convenient chart. Additionally, there are many other observations that can be tracked in the kegg app as well.

Unsure about fertility products so I used Kegg, Inito, and Oura simultaneously to see what worked and what didn’t. Kegg was cheaper, with only the upfront cost of the items and not having to buy expensive boxes of Inito’s hormone reading sticks. The item itself physically “worked”, it took my readings and downloaded easily, easy to use. But my readings never changed throughout the month…. Like never changed. It gave me a window for ovulation, but you can also just guess that based off my cycle history. This felt like a hoax with poor quality and never amounted to anything. While Inito and Oura were more expensive, they helped me time everything perfectly and understand easily what my body was going through to a T. I do not recommend Kegg whatsoever.
