Review: It seems to be calming my flock. My young rooster is determined to mate with my older hens who are not interested so he’s been chasing them around and seems to be picking on the more dominant hens. About 2 days after starting Recover 911 everyone seems calmer. I’m 5 days in now and things are still calm. With only 9 chickens I’ve made smaller batches than the gallon, just reduced the Recover 911 accordingly as they recommended to discard the mixture after 24 hrs. I recommended putting the Recover 911 in your container first then add the water as if you do it the other way, it seems to clump up and doesn’t mix well in cold water.

It seems to be calming my flock. My young rooster is determined to mate with my older hens who are not interested so he’s been chasing them around and seems to be picking on the more dominant hens. NC winters are generally mild, except for this past one. We had steady colder than average temps and lots more snow than we’re used to. My birds were struggling. I decided to give this a shot, and man, when I tell you it was a night and day difference in just a few days, that’s an understatement. Suddenly the girls were healthier and acting themselves again despite the cold. They even started laying weeks ahead of when I can normally expect them to. Follow the directions and watch the magic unfold. This will be a mainstay in my animal health arsenal.
