The traditional hood on the other hand can be a bit awkward to wear and is not very comfortable. When you need to train for your IFR and there aren't suitable clouds around to fly in, these Foggles will do the trick just fine. I wear them over my normal glasses without trouble.

When you need to train for your IFR and there aren't suitable clouds around to fly in, these Foggles will do the trick just fine. I wear them over my normal glasses without trouble.

If you wear glasses this is gonna be difficult to put on and stay on securely. I had to fiddle around to position it around my glasses and sometimes need to move it up. There just isn’t enough space for anything but the smallest lenses. Still beats wearing a hood. Another problem is its thick temples mess up the seal of headset cups, which makes for a very loud flight. I’m replacing this with overcasters.
