I called amazon and they said this should not happen. The seller said they can't send just a battery they have to replace the whole chair. I am 75 years old and severe arthritis in my back and it be extremely difficult for me to get this chair to a UPS center and I do not have any kind of box to put it in. My wife loves the chair it is for her she does not have any legs so the chair is a God send for her. All I need is a battery that works, but so far all I have received is a Hassel.
