... bought this for my husband who had discovered he liked pu-erh last year
I bought this for my husband who had discovered he liked pu-erh last year, but couldn't find any locally that really tickled his fancy. This ended up being part of his Christmas present and when he made a cup that night he was so excited I could hardly keep from laughing at the look on his face. He loves this more than the first kind he tried, and now he's completely enamored with this!

Very good fermented version of Pu-erh Tuocha
This is a good fermented Pu-erh Tuocha tea. It has a mild acidity that makes it excellent for hot or cold brewing. I add 20oz of water to one "nest", steep for 3-5min, then pour out one cup and add back in the same amount of water. In general, I find one nest makes 24-30oz of tea. I prefer the second pot as it brews far longer. Ideally, 30min-2hrs. This allows the secondary flavors from the fermentation to shine. It's not the best, but it is a very good version of the tea.

Good fermented puerh tea
Good fermented puerh tea. Loved the individually wrapped tea so its easy to use. Pay little more then the ring type but I like the convince.I use for diet purpose but personally like the stronger taste so I brew with jasmine tea.

Doesn't taste like an aged Pu'er tea! Tasteless as such!
Very disappointed in the flavor, or I should say "lack" of flavor this tea has. Immediately upon opening the package, there should have been an aroma to the tea, but there's absolutely nothing there. Doesn't taste aged at all. Actually, I don't think that this is all Puer tea. I think that it's a bunch of extremely poor quality of some basic tea leaves with a few Puer leaves thrown in. Would definitely not recommend this tea to anyone who is wanting Puer tea or any tea actually or wanting to try Puer tea for the first time! Drinkable, but not enjoyable at all! PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Excellent for the price!!
Not a bad Pu-erh for the price at all! Have had good lunch steaping it in a small Chinese style batches being brewed for 40 to 50 seconds. Quite delicious and can be rebrewed all day, with wonderful taste changes and quite complex for a tea of this price. Definitely recommend this tea!

Delicious
Great pu-erh tea! I brewed one brick three times and each brew tasted as good as the first.
