The Timberland PRO Direct Attach 8 Inch Steel Safety Toe Boot combines rugged waterproof leather, 400g insulation, and ASTM-certified steel toe protection with advanced Anti-Fatigue Technology for all-day comfort. ## Description

Inspired by our original yellow boots, these Timberland PRO Direct Attach 8" tall boots are waterproof and have 400 grams of insulation to help keep you dry and warm in cold-weather environments. From their premium Timberland seam-sealed waterproof leather uppers with comfortable padded collars to their heat-, oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant rubber lug outsoles for enhanced traction, these steel-toe boots are ready to get to work. We also added electrical hazard protection and Anti-Fatigue Technology polyurethane footbeds for all-day shock absorption and energy return, plus breathable, moisture-wicking linings made of ReBOTL fabric containing at least 50% recycled plastic.

Review: Very comfortable and durable, but the interior doesn't hold up well. - In terms of support and comfort, these have been excellent boots overall. I walk quite a few miles on a daily basis in them and have never experienced blisters, soreness, or discomfort. Flexibility was excellent once they were broken in and they are comfortable enough for everyday wear outside of work. My size 10.5 pair fits as expected, snugly enough to prevent unwanted movement, but not so snugly that putting them on or removing them with a full cushion boot sock is difficult. I'm less impressed with the durability. Externally, I have no complaints. They've held up as well as boots that cost more in that regard. The recycled synthetic/plastic derived interior material is every bit terrible it has always been and started to look rough in friction spots within a few weeks. Months later it has of course worn away almost completely in those spots. This admittedly has not impacted comfort and function much if at all, but is disappointing and almost certainly will have an impact as they age. All things considered, I really can't give them less than five stars. Most other options at this price point would have the same issue, and they are on track to last about two years, which is acceptable for the price point and conditions they're being used in.

I've been wearing steel toe boots since 05' working in the maritime industry. The biggest issue with steel toes is the period of time it takes for you to break them in. This isnt necessarily a problem with these, they slip right on and even tho theyre still slightly stiff, they feel great! this is my third pair of Timberland Pro's, i went with Redwings for a couple of years but the threads on the soles lasted only about 2 yeas. I'd suggest Timberland Pro's to anyone in the industry.
