They are highly durable and with the exception of a real accident, which they are there to protect against, they will last for a long time. These really save having to change the fitted sheet or whatever cloth you are using in your nursery if you have a tiny accident. If it gets soiled just wad it up and put it in the same container with the diaper and it's all gone.
