All ingredients are PET SAFE! **Q: How many milligrams of sodium is in this broth?** A: 50 milligrams of sodium per serving **Q: Does the beef flavor have any trace of poultry? The ingredient list includes “natural flavor” so I have to ask.** A: I’m expecting my next shipment tomorrow, so can’t check ingredient list, but without tasting it myself I wouldn’t know. Since they also make chicken bone broth, I’m assuming the beef is only beef product. The dogs love it. **Q: Is sodium added to this broth? If so, why? Or is it naturally occurring in the bones or other ingredients?** A: This bone broth contains 0.1% sodium in order to make it shelf stable (derived from sea salt). It's a trace amount to attain a proper pH for safe consumption. For comparison sake, dogs with severe sodium restrictions should be offered food with less than 0.1% sodium content (<50mg/100kCal).
