However, when I contacted the seller through Amazon, they replied within hours, and had issued me a partial refund to cover the cost of a different pair of inexpensive scope rings by the end of the day. A disappointing experience that was quickly turned around by good customer service.The scope itself feels fairly lightweight, but optically looks good (I'm not exactly a connoisseur, but I can easily and clearly see what I'm aiming at, at any zoom range between 2x and 7x). The eye relief is PERFECT for mounting forwards on the receiver of an old milsurp like my Mosin Nagant 91/30 (still in original wood stock). I am using an aftermarket picatinny rail that makes no permanent modifications or changes to the rifle; it locks in place where the rear sight normally sits.I'm looking forward to using the scope soon to work up a hunting load. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars happy *by J***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 3, 2018* This is NOT a long eye relief scope but after contacting the saler they fixed the problem very fast ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Broke after fewer than 40 rounds of 7.62x39 *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2019* I bought this as a scout scope for my mini-30, and installed it on my Ultimak forward scout rail.The scope itself was clear with great eye relief and I was able to zero the scope without problems within 12 rounds.It held the zero fine at first, but about 20 rounds later (some point during 2nd mag) the entire windage adjustment knob just broke off. It appeared to have just sheared off from the telescope tube where it had been attached.
