They would need something to unlock the locking nut. They would also have to smash a window and steal the display unit from inside the car. I've had mine fitted for a while now with no issues. **Q: Can this be used with a caravan?** A: I use it on a landrover discovery which is a big car and it performs perfectly. The issue is purely distance as the monitors on your wheels transmit a blue tooth signal to the receiver which obviously has a limited range. If it was a very big caravan being towed by a very big car you might find the distance was to far for the signal to travel but my understanding is that the range should be long enough for most situations. Hope this helps **Q: Can you change the batteries** A: Yes, the 4 tyre units use large button batteries, but to be fair they should last 2 years plus. The main unit has no batteries as it plugs into power socket. **Q: It claims it's accurate up to 87psi which is much higher than most similar products. Can anyone confirm whether it's accurate at high (50-60) psi?** A: Sorry, I only pressurise tyres to 40 psi.
