However, that would suggest they believe this should not be the cat's sole food source. Printing on the bag indicates: 1) there are 400 grams in the bag, and 2) 479 kcal per 100 gram. So 479 x 4 (or 4.79 cal/g x 400g) = 1916 calories in the bag. A cat needs approx. 30 calories per lb. to sustain its weight, so a 10 lb. cat needs 300 calories. Therefore 1916/300 = 6.39 days worth of calories to sustain a 10 lb. cat if it eats nothing else. **Q: Can this be crumbled up?
