Those little plastic bags at the grocery store for just a few apples made me feel horrible (I always imagined birds or fish getting tangled in the thin, dangerous plastic material). This is the better way! I keep everything organized in the refrigerator drawers with these without spoiling the veggies by leaving them in the plastic which seems to be suffocating them and turning them to mush. So glad I bought these! The only tough part is remembering to take them to the grocery store. Once by hand, 2 times in the washing machine. There was still gunk on it. I put it aside to try again but my husband tossed it out. The leaves also get snagged in it making it very difficult to clean them out.
