But overall the shoes have the signature doc martens level of quality, and I’m expecting to own these shoes for a very long time. The weight and quality also lends to a feeling of durability. I bought these shoes in a black color at first but something in me said they’d look better in brown, and I was right. They look extremely weird when you take a step and the creases it creates will cause the boots to look less than spectacular. Also I wear a size 7, and these boots are easily a size 8 and far too big.
