The dressing has a tangy vinegar and lemon bite with a mild poppyseed and onion flavor, so it tastes more sharp and sweetener-forward than a rich, creamy poppyseed dressing. The texture is thin and pourable, which makes it easy to coat big salads without using much, but it won’t give you that thick, creamy feel you might expect from traditional poppyseed dressings. I liked that it’s fat-free, sugar-free, and gluten-free with about 10 calories in 2 tablespoons, which makes it easy to use on large salads without worrying about calories. However, you can taste the artificial sweetness and the mix of thickeners and additives, so if you’re sensitive to sucralose or maltodextrin or prefer very natural ingredients, this may not be your favorite.
