When it comes to sound quality, the amplifier is very dynamic, clean and punchy. The mid-range is very direct focusing and the high range is great linear. The dedicated 300w rms mono channel (4 ohms) can drive a fairly large subwoofer. Surprisingly, this amplifier works very cool and delivers impressive powerful bass. We tested in the In Phase XT-12 but there was no problem providing a controlled, clean and accurate power bus. This amplifier is 2 ohm stable and can supply more power to the sub. The amp is connected to four Kenwood Excelon 1800 speakers in the doors and a pair of Pyle 12” Bluewave subs (wired in parallel) - base sounds pretty good, but I know the Kenwood amp could punch harder if I had better subs in the back. I ran a Rockford 4awg power cable down the drivers side and Rockford twisted pair signal + speaker cables down the passenger side (remote turn on and remote base control wires can go down passenger side too) and everything sounds great - no electrical noise or interference.
