Original post: We recieved our set today and the bishop doesn't have a magnet in it and the felt is very different on the bottom than all the other pieces. Seems more necessary to include the queens instead?** A: Each side has an extra queen because, in a chess game, if you have a pawn that reaches the 8th rank of the Board, it can be exchanged for any piece, but obviously most players will choose to have it be a queen. If your original queen is still in play on the board, it's nice to have an extra one to use instead of having to fashion some other kind of marker. . **Q: Do the checker pieces fall out when the board is turned over?** A: If you open it the wrong way then they will fall out but if you open it correctly then all the pieces stay put. The center of a chessboard hump up always, that it is unavoidable to had a huge gap in the hingle area, that’s why i don’t like the foldable board all the time.
