The Romeo Pro 3’s specs (multi-kilowatt motors, throttle, ~50 mph top speed) make it a motorcycle under the laws of the United States, Canada, UK, EU, Australia, Mexico, and India — not a bicycle. In all of these places, it requires registration, a license, insurance, and type-approval to be used on public roads. It cannot legally be ridden on streets as sold. Yet the product is still being marketed on desertcart with misleading claims like “50 MPH e-bike” and “no license required”. These statements violate consumer protection and advertising laws in every jurisdiction I checked. A “power limiter” does not make it legal — regulators classify by the vehicle’s design and capability, not a setting that can be removed or bypassed.
