This is a quality bit that should last a long time. Review: Works well for compound radius fretboard construction - I am using this bit in my router with a jig I made which allows me to make compound radius fretboard for acoustic guitars. After using this bit and getting whatever compound radius I want there is very little to no sanding that is needed. It would take multiple passes varying the depth of the cut .
