I had been wanting a Teknetics T2 for a long time and saved up for one. Then I learned that the T2 is tuned more for relic hunting and the Fisher F75 is set up more for coins and jewelry. So, since I mostly coin hunt, when this went on sale, and I bought one.It was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. There are a couple versions out there. This one had a pin pointer in the kit, which tipped the scales in its favor.I put it together and found the firmware is the newest version. It feels nice for my hand and arm, is lightweight and easy to swing.I wanted to take it out right away, but wouldn't you know it, it was late and the next day, there was snow on the ground, and it was windy. A few days later, the snow was gone and I could get out and play a little. I was able to locate a few very nice signals, however the ground is frozen for now. Come spring, I will find out what treasures are waiting for me.The F75 is a turn on and go machine from the factory with plenty of adjustments for fine tuning. It will take a while to learn it all but promises to be an enjoyable adventure with a lot of fun finds to go. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Fisher F75+ Bundle - "My First Impression", (not about the functions) - Disappointed! UPDATED! *by M***E on June 5, 2020* This is an update; on my purchase from a couple years back. I should never have given the single star with my review and now correct that, should have been three stars, being at least neutral. I have since taken a different road and given it to my 6'2" friend, who is more than happy with it. Therefore I change my review.Right out of the box I was disappointed! The unit is packaged for compact shipping which I totally agree with. I was excited that it had arrived and I was prepared - as a newbie - to do this right. My first metal detector and believe me I watched an extensive variety of detectors via YT videos to be certain I would get the most for my money. I decided this Fisher 75+ was an excellent model to begin my detecting adventures. As soon as I raised the main frame of the detector from the box I noticed a difference from the advertised image which also matched the image on the box it was packaged in, however, the unit lacked the holes necessary for adjusting the arm rest. The photo images I've seen - show the holes for adjusting, but my unit appears to be non-adjustable for a short arm person such as myself. When I placed my right arm into position as if to begin the swing from side to side, my elbow is positioned in the arm rest so my elbow gets the weight and balance but my bicep gets leveraged in the cradle, and I realized this doesn't feel right for me. Now what am I to do??? The unit is a work of art and probably operates like a fine tuned watch, but I already don't like the feel of it. Surely there is an option for me. At least if a 6'5" person sat inside a compact car the seat would position for comfort.On this point, I find it ridiculous for people to give poor marks for things like "I ordered the wrong one" or "decided this was to expensive". But this review doesn't fall into that category. I had no control over this design modification and I was not given any reference that it could be at all different than how it was photographically presented to me in the marketing advertisements. I'm not going to send it back because I still think I have every reason to believe this is the best detector for the money I've spent. But I can't help wondering how long it will be that I don' like driving this model and have full blown regrets.
