The item was undoubtedly brand new, therefore it took me no time at all to slip into it to check fit...it fit, was comfortable...it was, did the zipper work smoothly and effortlessly on the installed track....it did, was it well tailored...it was, is it suitable for nearly all occasions...it is. In summation, was this short sleeved polo worthy of joining the other Haggar garments in my wardrobe of favorites? That question can be answered in one word....YES!After wearing the garment daily for three or four days I decided to see how easy it would be to launder.I didn't have any laundry to go out at the time, so I decided to hand launder this sweater shirt in the bathtub.A quarter cap of perfume free biodegradable detergent added after a preliminary rinse in lukewarm water with a gentle hand press wringing action to the sides of the tub certainly no twisting. I did this through all phases of the process. I put the sweater on a hangar to dry using the shower curtain rod. I was very impressed with the rapidity of to reach a completely dry state and virtually free of any wrinkles. In the bygone days people used to wonder whether a clothing item was going to shrink. I remember when I was a kid they would buy me pants that were too big. That happening would always elicit a response from my grandma informing my Mom, not to fuss because they will fit after you wash them a few times. I am not sure how it happened but eventually the pants did fit...perfectly!Either they shrunk just right or I grew just right.Now then, back to now in the present and to the evaluation and extolling of this modern piece of clothing.This polo shirt by Haggar does not shrink, it would be nearly impossible to see a single wrinkle. If one were present it would be gone in a few minutes of wear. That is the nature of the warp and weave and the composition of the thread used.In my opinion this Haggar Premium Comfort, quarter zippered, short sleeve, polo shirt for taller men is a smart looking, well styled garment for all active men. Whether you golf, play polo, or just play around this is the all round shirt for you. I like it..I often put it on when there is a chill in the air. It is only then that I wish for a long sleeved edition.I can wear it over a dress shirt with french tie, thus rendering it suitable for almost any occasion or social gathering and YES of course the shirt sleeves will show, but that is the in look. Trust me.It is a winner from Haggar.
