Definitely NOT waterproof
I purchased these boots to replace a very expensive pair of Keens I received for Christmas. The Keens came apart after five months. I decided to give these a try because I had a pair of Khombus a few years ago. I am VERY disappointed. I walk my dog every morning for a mile or so in wet grass. Within five minutes, my socks are soaking wet. That is bad enough, but the boots are so wet inside, it takes three or four days to dry out. The boots are comfortable, but definitely NOT WATERPROOF.

Very unreliable and poorly manufactured
DO NOT PURCHASE THESE BOOTS!!!!!This is the worst purchase I have ever made. I bought these as a Christmas present for my father and after wearing them for just 2 days the seam on the toe split. I contacted the seller and sent them back, but only received half of the purchase price back for a refund. Not only would I recommend not buying these boots, I wouldn’t purchase any footwear from this company. This was definitely a product of poor manufacturing and this company should be embarrassed at the merchandise they are selling.

Cheap but usable
These seem to run about a half size large and are honestly cheap. I had a set of Wager-Ks that I somehow lost after 2 years and I loved them. They went everywhere, fit perfectly, waterproof, a deal at twice the price but unfortunately they don't make them anymore. These seem to be the replacements but they are of significantly lower quality. Lots of plastic and rubber and though certainly wearable they are just not nearly as comfortable as my last pair.Haven't tested the waterproof rating yet and I find I need insoles immediately. All in all they're just okay and as good as the last pair were, I'm disappointed.

OUCH! Worst boots ever!
OUCH! These shoes are so off size, my toes Nike boots that were too snug. These boots are a full size larger than the size 12 Nike's I replaced. These shoes were cursed from the beginning. They showed up loose, not even in a box, Swapmeet style. They look attractive, but I suspect the construction is cosmetic only. I guess the good new is since they are 2 sizes too small, i can donate them to Goodwill and allow someone else who hopefully tries them on first a pair of shoes at a discount price.Walking is too important not to be comfortable.

good for me
Great I use them for climbing Camelback Mtn in Scottsdale Arizona I do it every day... they are working well for 30 bucks, I go through shoes so fast and does not matter if there 180 or 30 they last about the same.

A little too big
Going to give this 4 stars because I don't want to hurt their rating, but I wasn't real satisfied. The boots are a bit stiff. Because they were a little big, my toes would get squished on descents. They are definitely waterproof!! Because they were so stiff and rigid it was hard to get them tied tight. I will probably buy a different pair for next season, but the price was right and they are definitely built to last. I would definitely get a half size smaller though because they were still roomy with fleece socks on.

Not all Khombu Men's size 11 winter boots are the same size
Since my husband owns another style of Khombu Men's boots, size 11, that fit perfectly with HEAVY winter socks, he ordered these boots in size 11. When he tried these on, with NORMAL weight socks, his toes touched the front of the boot, so we returned them. After returning the size 11's, he decided he liked this style enough to try ordering it in 12. They have not arrived yet, so he doesn't know if 12's will fit right.

Not waterproof ☹️
Not waterproof! The first time I wore the boots and stepped in water that was just higher than the sole, water came trickling in on both boots! Please stop advertising your boots as waterproof when they are not. Most of the boot is covered in rubber material, but there is one piece of leather on the side where the water comes in. On my first use backpacking trip, the sole started separating from the boot. Hoping for one more use before I have to dispose of them.
