I have got around this by clamping it to a windowsill next to my table. Setting it up with the iPhone clipped into the clamp needs some thought . But once clipped in place adjustments can be made . I think I would like the claw clamp to be offset as you have to adjust the position of the iPhone in the clamp to access the shutter button to enable the picture to be taken . The stand is sturdy with all the adjustments necessary to fix it formally to a desk or table . Once fixed in place it is rigid and enables a photo to be taken with no shudder .
